Gary Lee Ratliff, Sr
(2/4/1943 – 11/8/2024)

Gary Lee Ratliff, Sr., 81 of Raleigh, MS passed away Friday, November 8, 2024 at his residence in Raleigh, MS. He was born Thursday, February 4, 1943 in Battle Creek, Michigan.

A Memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

Gary graduated in 1961 from Father Ryan High School in Nashville, TN. Following high school, he served in the Navy. After the Navy he attended Delta State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude and as Valedictorian, obtaining a Master’s in Business Administration.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Fowler Ratliff; father, Paul Leslie Ratliff; mother, Mary Louise Strubble Ratliff.

Survivors include his sons, Gary Ratliff, II and Michael Ratliff (Francine); daughters, Laura Boles (Bodie) and Mishelle Pellerin; sister, Mary Lynne Williams; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
