Fannie Lee Luckey Meadows
(July 26, 1927 – February 12, 2022)

Fannie Lee Luckey Meadows, 94 of Mize, MS passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Tuesday, July 26, 1927, in Mize, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel at 302 8th Avenue SW, Magee, MS.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi. The burial will follow in Fairmont-Waco Cemetery in Mize, Mississippi. Sister Sandra Hancock, and Brother Rudy Jackson will officiate. Special music will be performed by Mr. Luckey Easterling, and Ms. Donna Ainsworth.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

Mrs. Meadows was a faithful charter member of Waco Church of God in Mize, Mississippi.  She was very active in working with Vacation Bible School.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.  She enjoyed working with her flowers, knitting, crocheting, and most of all spending time with her family.  She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kearny Meadows; father, Timothy Hubert Luckey; mother, Ida Mae Warren Luckey; and brother, Andrew Blackmon.

Survivors include her loving sons, Larry Meadows (Diane) of Mize, MS, and Paul Meadows (Liz) of Mize, MS; grandchildren, Lacey Brook Meadows Bourn (Toby) of Mize, MS, and Michael Holden Meadows of Hattiesburg, MS; great-grandchildren, Juliet Elizabeth Bourn and Brooks Gunner Bourn both of Mize, MS; sisters, Daisy Luckey Easterling and Elouise Luckey Hancock both of Mize, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Doug Hancock, Tim Hancock, Brian Easterling, Toby Bourn, Holden Meadows, and Luckey Easterling. Honorary pallbearers will be Andy Blackmon, Lance Easterling, WL Sykes, and Joe Lowery.

The family would like to express a special thanks to her two sisters (Daisy and Elouise), her nieces (Shawn Craft, Kay Easterling, Melissa Easterling) for all the kindness they have shown. Also, Homecare Hospice staff for the great professional care and kindness they showed us during this time.
