Elizabeth Dawn Manning, 40, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, passed away June 20, 2021, at home. She was born May 6, 1981 in Jones County, Mississippi. Dawn was a 2000 graduate of Taylorsville High School.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 25, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville, Mississippi.
Funeral Services will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be Sunday, June 27, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at Clear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Frankie Clark and Bro. Glenn McElhenny will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements.
Dawn was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She dearly loved her “babies” and enjoyed spending time with them. Her bubbly personality was such that she never met a stranger and her “heart of gold” will be missed by many. Dawn was a member of Grace Covenant Church of Ellisville.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Johnnie Merle Hancock Blakeney; grandparents, Johnny and Merle Hancock, and Gail and Louise Blakeney.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin Manning; children, Gabrial, William and Harley Manning; stepson Hunter Manning; father, John Billy Blakeney; sister, Dena Jordan (Eric); brother, Blake Blakeney (Amy); nephew, Laine Jordan (Mallory); nieces, Abby and Gracie Jordan, Alex and Victoria Blakeney, a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
