MDOT urges public to stay weather aware as Tropical Storm Arthur tracks toward state

MageeNews.com held a zoom interview with Mr. Carswell on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.

I wondered why someone of Carswell talent would move to America and Mississippi.  He stated, “because I was not born in America, I appreciate what sets this great country apart.  I believe in American exceptionalism.  Americans flourish when they are free.”

Mr. Carswell brings a knowledge to MCPP that will allow the continuation of seeking and making a difference in the lives and businesses of the State of Mississippi.

Douglas is ready and willing to meet the challenges in our state.  He is not someone who shies away from a fight for freedom.

Information on the MCPP:

A PLACE WHERE INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY, OPPORTUNITY, AND RESPONSIBILITY REIGN BECAUSE GOVERNMENT IS LIMITED

OUR MISSION

To advance the constitutional ideals of liberty and justice for all Mississippians by employing an evidenced-based approach to public policy whereby we advocate for and advance real conservative ideas with policy makers, members of the media, business leaders, the academic community, and private citizens.

OUR VISION

For Mississippi to be a place where entrepreneurs are free to pursue their dreams, parents are free to direct the education and upbringing of their children, citizens are free to express their conscience, government is limited, personal liberty and responsibility are treasured, free market solutions are preferred, and as many people as possible are free from dependence on government.

I hope you will take time to listen to the interview.

Sue Note:  I am making an effort to enhance our coverage of news all over the state.  If you have someone you would like for me to interviews, just send me an email.  I’ll see if I can make it happen!
