Churches across Magee are joining together this week with one common purpose—to share the love of Jesus and let the community know they are cared for.
Throughout the week, churches from across the city have been involved in Mission Magee, hosting outreach activities in neighborhoods, schools, businesses, and public gathering places. Every event has been designed to encourage, serve, and connect with the people of Magee.
One example of the week’s outreach was Burgers and Blessings, hosted by Christ Fellowship Church at the Five-Way Stop in Magee. Church members cooked and distributed more than 1,000 free hamburgers, greeting motorists and residents with a meal, a smile, and words of encouragement.
The week’s activities will conclude with a special City-Wide Worship Night on Friday, July 17, at Trojan Field.
The evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a youth rally in the parking lot near the stadium featuring refreshments, games, fellowship, and a time of sharing. Then, at 7:00 p.m., the entire community is invited to gather inside Trojan Field for a united worship service focused on praying for Magee, its families, its leaders, and its future.
Whether you have attended one of the week’s outreach events or are simply looking for a time of worship and encouragement, everyone is welcome.
