(March 26, 1968 – September 5, 2023)

Alex Beth Higgins, 55 of Mendenhall, Mississippi passed away from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born on Tuesday, March 26, 1968, in Jackson, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 302 8th Ave SW, Magee, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Sharon Cemetery in Magee, Mississippi. Bro. Matthew Temple will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

He was preceded in death by his father, David B. Higgins; mother, Sadie Reeves Higgins; brother, Billy Higgins; sister, Emma Higgins; paternal grandparents, Barney and Emma Higgins; and maternal grandparents, Charles and Ethel Reeves.

Survivors include his one sister, Nancy Higgins of Magee, MS; one brother, Kevin Higgins of Magee, MS; one nephew, David Michael Temple; two nieces, Desserae Vaughn and Billie Danielle Temple; and a host of other family members and friends.

Servings as pallbearers will be his family and friends.
