The district office had 1 staff to test positive. The school district reports10 staff members and 23 students tested positive. We had 12 staff members and 81 students who needed to quarantine in order to maintain a safe learning environment. Most of the staff and students who tested positive or had to quarantine were exposed outside the school setting. My nursing staff and I received reports over the break and throughout this week showing a number of people were exposed during the Thanksgiving break. Those who knew they were affected did not return to school this week.
The nursing staff at each school continues to work diligently to ensure all protocols and procedures are being followed. We will continue to monitor and keep you updated on our progress.
Thank you,

Judith Jones, RN, BSN
