Nancy J. Smith, 80 of Mendenhall, MS passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at the Brandon Nursing & Rehab in Brandon, MS. She was born Tuesday, January 4, 1944 in Philadelphia, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Mendenhall, Mississippi. Bro. Ron Gomillion will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy L Smith; parents, BJ and Irene Goldman Smith; grandchild, Darren Bivins; brother, Doyle Smith; sister, Judy Ann Smith McDonald.

Survivors include her sons, Roy Smith (Beth) of Bolton, MS and Brantly Lee Smith (Dawn) of Harrisville, MS; daughters, Nanette Bivins (Paul) of Utica, MS, Stephanie Dunn (Ed) of Philadelphia , MS and Sandra Blakeney (Sam) of New Hebron, MS; grandchildren, Justin Dunn, Kyle Blakeney (Harlie), Morgan Hoover (Noah), Austin Smith (Carmen), Elijah Smith, Jeremiah Smith, Isaac Chain and Charity Smith; great grandchildren, Bryan Atkinson, Brody Atkinson, Jake Blakeney, Logan Blakeney, Kaye-ann Hoover and Hailey Blakeney; and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Blakeney, Noah Hoover, Justin Dunn, Austin Smith, Ed Dunn, and Paul Bivins.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jake Blakeney and Elijah Smith.
