2024 Presidential Primary Absentee Ballots Now Available

JACKSON, Miss. – Absentee ballots for the 2024 Democratic and Republican Presidential Primaries are now available in the county circuit clerk’s office.

To verify eligibility, Mississippians can utilize the Step-By-Step Absentee Guide from the Secretary of State’s Office or contact their local circuit clerk. If eligible, ballots will be provided upon request by your circuit clerk.

For those who cannot visit their circuit clerk’s office during the work week, Saturday in-person absentee voting dates are March 2, 2024, and March 9, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until noon.

The 2024 Primary Election voter registration deadline is February 12, 2024. In order to be eligible to vote on March 12, Mississippians may:

  • Register in-person at the circuit or municipal clerk’s office by 5:00 p.m. on February 12
  • Mail registration applications postmarked no later than February 12
