A wreck occurred on highway 28 East Monday afternoon at approximately 2:30. Limited information at this time. Fire and rescue on scene. The accident happened on the hill near Angela’s.
Update: Two vehicles were involved in the highway 28 east wreck. Two people were injured. I originally thought the cars were on fire but apparently the smoke was caused when the air bags deployed. Both people were taken to the hospital. No names available at this time.
This is a horrible intersection! Drivers cannot see vehicles coming over the hill and there is no warning sign.
