2 cars were involved in a wreck on highway 28 west near Corinth Church.  One car pulled on to the highway from Varner Road and was hit.  Two ambulances are on the scene.  Occupants of the cars are not critically injured but are being transported by ambulance to the hospital.

 

No names are available.  The fire truck was called to the scene as well as the rescue unit. The road is blocked at this time.

 

Update from Simpson County Sheriff Department:  About 10 pm there was a motor vehicle collision involving 2 vehicles on Hwy 28 at Corinth Baptist Church. Deputy McGovern called for the Magee Fire Department to bring the Jaws of Life for extraction and 2 ambulances were needed.
