At approximately 10:45 AM, the Magee Police Department, Magee Fire Department, and ASAP ambulance service were called to an accident at the Love’s traffic light on highway 49 in Magee.

The Fire Department was called because of a possible entrapment.  The visible smoke was from a busted radiator and not an actual fire.  There was no entrapment.

The north bound  lane was blocked.  Traffic was able to travel at times on the other lane.

I do not have any information if anyone was injured.

The accident appeared to be a rear-ended situation.  From what I could tell, a camper trailer and a cross over SUV were involved.

I am attempting to obtain details from the Magee Police Department.

Several police cars were on site as well as 2 fire trucks and the Fire Marshall’s truck, plus ASAP.

I will update as information is released.
