Wilson Franklin “Frank” Cole, 85 of Magee, Mississippi passed away from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Friday, April 28, 2023, at the MS Care Center in Raleigh, Mississippi. He was born on Saturday, March 19, 1938, in Smith County, Magee, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at South Shady Grove Church of God, 118 SCR 108, Magee, Mississippi, and on Monday, May 1, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until service time.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at South Shady Grove Church of God. The burial will follow in Calvary Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Mize, MS. Bro. Barry Warren, Bro. Donald Slider, and Sis. Loretta Smith will officiate. Special music will be provided by Connie Amason. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

Mr. Frank was a devoted member of South Shady Grove Church of God in Magee, Mississippi.  He served as the church clerk for nearly thirty years.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, and friend.

He was a graduate of Mize High School.  He then began his career as a factory worker, cattle farmer, and commercial egg producer.  He then retired after twenty-three years as a school bus driver and foreman. He enjoyed camping, traveling, farming and working in his garden, going to the cow sales with his buddies, but most of all spending time with his family.  He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Wilson Calvin Cole; granddaughter, Ericka McWilliams; father, William Shelby Cole; mother, Mattie Mae Welch Cole; and brothers, Harles Cole and Tim Cole.

Survivors include his loving wife of sixty-six years, Patricia Ann Magee Cole of Magee, MS; three daughters, Debra Cole Brewer (Charles) of Mize, MS, Delores Cole Robinson (Keith) of Magee, MS and Susan Cole McWilliams (Ricky) of Magee, MS; six grandchildren, Stephanie Hall (Wesley), Courtney Craft (Chris), Cody Robinson, Candace McWilliams Ballard (Garrett), Shelby Robinson Martin (Cory) and Cassidy Faith McWilliams Pickering (Nathan); seven great-grandchildren, Gage Craft, Mattie Craft, Aryanna Robinson, Charlee Anne Hall, Aurora Martin, Noah Martin and Lucas Ballard; one brother, James Cole (Teresa); sister’s-in-law, Tommie Lou Cole and Bobbie Jean Cole; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Cody Robinson, Cory Martin, Wesley Hall, Chris Craft, Gage Craft, and Garrett Ballard.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Garner, Joseph Cole, Eugene Cole, and Kyle Cockrell.
