Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2015 at the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Mount Olive for Willis Newell McQueen, 89, of Mount Olive, who passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Pleasant Hills Community Living Center in Jackson.
Interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family members and friends. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee will be in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. McQueen, a Simpson County native, retired the from Simpson County Road Maintenance Department after twenty five years of service. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. Mr. McQueen was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Emma Brown McQueen.
Survivors include one aunt, Mildred Smith of Pearl; and a host of cousins.
