The Scriptural passage chosen is found in 1 Peter: 3-4: “What matters is not your outer appearance–the styling of your hair, the jewelry you wear, the cut of your clothes–but your inner disposition.” As Christians, we must remember at all times that man looks upon the outward appearance, but God looks upon the heart of each individual. We are to strive to cultivate the inner person, the one who has chosen God to be our Lord and Savior. Through study of His Word and an active prayer life, the inner person can be shaped and transformed into the person God can use and bless beyond measure. Let us pay less attention to what pleases man and more to what pleases God. “To God be the glory! Great things He has done!”
