“What a crying shame if we neglect so great a gift.” By James Davis

The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in Romans 8:13: “For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.” The writer of this particular verse warns all those who have yet to accept Christ and his gift of salvation that there is a choice which must be made: renounce the sinful nature we’re all born with or continue without change and face the consequences. Christ came to earth and died for our sins, the sins of all the world and for all mankind so we’d each have a chance of eternal life with God. What a “crying” shame if we neglect so great a gift. Do heed the warning. Repent and be saved before it’s everlastingly too late. Amen!
