By James Davis
The Scriptural passage for today is found in Philippians 1:6: “He, Who began a good work in you, will carry it to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Yes, we are wonderfully formed by God from conception, and that growth continues until He calls us home. The apostle here reminds the early Christians that we each have purpose in this life and are encouraged to stay close to our Maker throughout our earthly journey, then enter into His rest and perfect peace. He should be our guide and stay, and in Him alone are we to place our hope for a brighter today in God’s tomorrow. The Word of God for the people of God; thanks be to God! Amen!
Happy Thursday and happy birthday to my son James Ashley Davis.
