The Simpson County Republican Executive Committee and The Republican Women of Simpson County hosted a reception Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the Corner Grocery in D’Lo recognizing Commissioner of Agriculture & Commerce Andy Gipson.
The event was open to the public.
When Andy was appointed Commissioner, he resigned from his position as House of Representative District 77.
Andy has been busy in his new job! Two of his responsibilities are the Mississippi State Fair and the Agriculture Museum. Andy told me over 600,000 people walk through the gates at the MS State Fair.
Over 100 people attended the gathering at the D’Lo Corner Grocery which is owned by Andy and his wife Leslie. Andy and his family live on a farm in Braxton.
Pictured are Cemper Scott and Republican volunteer Zach Holbrook.
