Magee has experienced water issues all week. From low pressure to no pressure, our citizens have struggled.
What’s happening?
Well #3, which is located near Tractor Supply, was due for routine inside the tank painting maintenance. When the water level was lowered in the tank, a water shortage occurred. The situation was quickly addressed.
Wednesday, I was sent a picture of water “shooting” our of the tank near the Sportsplex. I thought, “what in the world!” (The city “topped off” the tank causing water to be released.)
I need to back up and say Monday night, water was “shooting” out of the tank at Tractor Supply. . Mercy, these water people have had
their hands full this week. I appreciate the crews and all their work.
According to Mayor Dale Berry, everything is fine and under control!
Well, I hope so. This has been crazy!
