On Tuesday, March 26, the Conservative Men’s Meeting of Simpson County held their annual meeting with this month’s focus on roads and bridges. Featured guest speakers included former Chief Supreme Court Justice Bill Waller, who’s running for Governor, and Southern Transportation Commissioner Tom King, who is seeking re-election. Both spoke on the importance of a viable transportation system that can support the economy of our state. Following the event, MageeNews was able to catch both candidates for a short interview regarding their plans for a better Mississippi. We hope to have Justice Waller on a Special Edition of the TalkShow in the very near future; stay tuned for more information.
