According to Mayor Dale Berry, the water leak on highway 541 near Choctaw Street has been repaired and the road is open for traffic. A new water leak was reported on 2nd Avenue behind the Kentucky Fried Chicken after lunch Friday. The city is waiting on the “811” clearance before repairs can be made to that break. No digging can take place until an “all clear” is received from the utility companies.
All other leaks in the city were repaired Friday.
