I received an update from Joyce’s daughter, Jolyn.

Joyce is making slow progress and doing well.  She has a long road to recovery and is working hard.    Joyce will require full assistance. We are searching for the most appropriate facility once Joyce is discharged from the acute rehab unit at North MS Medical Center.  Joyce still cannot move her left arm; minimally can move left leg;  but can swallow well; feels ok and is willing to work hard.  The stroke did not impair her ability to talk!!!

Please, specifically pray for Joyce that her right brain heals and her left sided function returns.

I love Joyce McNair!!! She is a wonderful lady!  Many of you will remember her from her years of working with Willnut Gas and Oil and Magee schools.
