By James Davis
The Scriptural passage for today is found in Isaiah 55:7: “Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him, and to our God, for He will freely pardon.” The Word of God for the people of God; thanks be to God. Can it be made any plainer? If we ask God to forgive us of our sins, He will gladly pardon and forgive us. If we do not and continue to follow our sinful nature, certain spiritual and physical death await. Which do we prefer? Because of free will, it’s all left up to us to decide. Choose you this day whom you will serve? Amen!
Let’s stay focused in our walk with God today. Let us share the love, joy, and kindness he imparts to each of us as we interact with our fellow man.
