Magee Trojans faced off against Wingfield for their spring football game at Newfell Field, Thursday, May 11, 2017.
Trojans have a very young team this year with only seven seniors. Several younger players will see playing time as this team develops. These athletes might be young, but do not let that fool you, they are fast!
Consistency is what the Coach Coats will be looking for. The team had a solid group of players last season. Coach Coats hopes to build on that. The building process started with a good showing against Wingfield. The Trojans may be young, but many players gained valuable experience in the fall.
There will be new hands under the center this year as quarterback. Rotating at this position are Sophomore KeShun Collier and Freshman Chandler Pittman.
Quarter back for the Junior Varsity is Brennon McNair.
The Trojans are looking forward to a good season this fall.
