Tommy Joe McClellan, 68 of Mize, Mississippi passed away from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at his home in Mize. He was born Thursday, November 25, 1954, in Raleigh, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 219 Sylvarena Ave, Raleigh, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Fairmont Waco Cemetery in Mize, Mississippi. Bro. Rudy Jackson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Tommy was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, farming, wood working, and most of all spending time with his family and friends.  He will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Hope McClellan; father, Jimmy McClellan; mother, Annie Lee Luckey McClellan; brothers, Jerry McClellan and James Farrell McClellan.

Survivors include his one daughter, Kecia Joelle McClellan of Hernando, MS; three grandchildren, Levi Phipps McClellan, Londyn Escue, and Laney Joelle McClellan all of Hernando, MS; special friend, Emily Kilgore of Mize, MS and her children David Kilgore of Raleigh, MS, Kendra Hankins of Taylorsville, MS, and Skylar Gouldson of TX with her six grandchildren; one brother, Jimmy Wayne McClellan of Mize, MS; one sister, Joyce Ann McClellan Lott of Puckett, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Levi McClellan, Joey McClellan, Eddie McClellan, Charles Rhodes, Kaden McKinley, and Bruce McCarty.

Honorary pallbearers will be Junior McClellan and Marty Ware.
