Tired of doing Good!!
“Let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” (Galatians 6:9 NLT)
We are bombarded with troubles and sorrows daily. When I read the news reports or watch the local and national news, I am overwhelmed with all of the bad, evil things that are taking place all over the world. I sometimes ask God: “Why are You allowing this to happen?” “Don’t You see your children suffering?” “When are You going to stop this?” I haven’t gotten an answer! God does not owe me an explanation!! He has told me my purpose as His child: DO GOOD!

Do good, Peter! Do the right thing, Peter! Do the practical things, Peter! Sometimes we are caught up in the bad things and we forget that God is still on his throne and in His time, He will deal with evil!! In the interim, our job is to do “GOOD”well: mission trips, witnessing, building, food drives, giving to worthy causes and Praying daily!! – All of these things are good and all of these things are “Feeding the Sheep”. There is no good thing that God does not see or bless. Don’t get overwhelmed with the evil in our world. All of us are commanded to “Do Good!” Whether little things or big things: Don’t get tired and discouraged. Remember that old song: “Little is much when God is in it!”
