Thurman L. Tebo
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home for Thurman L. Tebo, 95, of Magee who passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Magee General Hospital. Brother Charles Burnham, Brother Anthony Dean, and Brother Barry Warren will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery with military rites at graveside. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee will be in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Tebo, a Simpson County native, was a retired carpenter. He was a member of the Church of God faith. Mr. Tebo proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Lula Mae Spangler Tebo; his wife, Carrie Tebo; one son, Kenneth Tebo; one sister, Merlene Ainsworth; and four brothers, James Tebo, Erman Ray Tebo, Claude Tebo, Jr., and Ross Earl Tebo.
Survivors include one son, Cary Tebo and daughter-in-law, Judy of Magee; daughter-in-law, Nora Tebo of Magee; two sisters, Sharlene Tanner of Pearl, and Kathryn Riley of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Family and friends may sign an online guest book at www.colonialchapelmageemendenhall.com
