On Friday morning 2/4/2022 Magee Police Officers responded to Berry’s Seafood to a “theft in progress” call. Owner, Carroll Berry, had caught an employee taking food items.
The employee was identified as 49-year-old Randy Walker of Mount Olive, MS. Mr. Walker was found in possession of over $1000 worth of food from Berry’s in his truck.
Walker was charged with Grand Larceny and Bonded out mid-day Friday.
Surveillance video has aided tremendously in the investigation thus far. The case remains under investigation as evidence is collected. As always, any additional information would be greatly appreciated.
