The Lady Trojan Junior Varsity Volleyball Team played vigorously.  Although Katie Barnard, #44, had great serves, the Trojans were defeated in the first set. Coming back with a vengeance, Magee beat McLaurin in the second set. With both teams battling it out in the final set, everyone was on their toes. Each ball served by McLaurin was returned; the game was continuously tied; but unfortunately, the Trojans lost the last set, making the final score 2-1.

The Lady Trojan Varsity Team began playing zealously against the McLaurin Tigers. Abby Myers, #18 had excellent serves, gaining the Trojans several points. However, despite their tremendous efforts, Magee lost the first set.  With both teams fighting hard, the second set was close, with the Trojans falling short 4 points. The third set, however, was far more interesting. Everyone was on the edge of their seats as the Lady Trojan Volleyball Team fought back against the Tigers. With amazing spikes by Mikilia Daniels, #22, the Lady Trojans were victorious in the third-set!  The fourth set carried the same determination and energy; however, it was concluded with the Lady Trojans being unsuccessful. The final score was 3-1.

Please continue to support Magee Volleyball as Piney Woods enters Trojan territory on Thursday night to play our varsity girls at 6:00.
