The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Proverbs 11:17: “A kind man benefits himself, but a cruel man brings trouble on himself.” The role of kindness in the Christian’s life is huge. It should be a driving force to treat others with the same measure of kindness as we would wish others to treat us. We can easily look about us to see what cruelty and abuse create in the lives of people. Who wants that? It’s not of God, but, rather, it stems from the forces of darkness–from satan himself. Practice being kind. Share God’s love and watch it grow. Amen!
