Tuesday afternoon, September 6th, Dorothy Ainsworth passed.  Dorothy has been a fixture at the Piggy Wiggly as long as I can remember.

I always thought she was so pretty…her long blonde hair…her shy smile…and her dedication to her job.

I just don’t understand things like this…my heart hurts for her daughter, family, the employees of the Pig, and the many many friends she had made during her years at the Pig.

You were loved, Dorothy…I hope you knew that…everyone who passed through those doors loved you.  I remember how hard you worked following Katrina so our “Pig” stayed open.

My heart aches…..you were young …you were loved….and you will always be remembered.

Arrangements will be posted when received

Thanks everyone for the sweet words!! I really enjoy reading how special and loved my momma was not only by her family but everyone she came in contact with!! I sure do miss her and wished she was here with me but I know she’s in a much better place and one day we will be together again!!
