The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in Isaiah 55:11: “The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” Here, the prophet of old delivered the Words from God to His chosen people, assuring them that if they would put their trust in Him and Keep His commandments, God would protect them, make them strong and vibrant, much like a well-tended garden. Yet, we know they did not always obey, and God withdrew His care and protection. Let us learn from their mistakes. Let us trust and obey, because there is no other way for the Christian. Amen!
