The Downtown Magee Homeowner District neighborhood group has submitted a legal complaint to the Zoning Commission for discussion Tuesday night, August 23, 2022, 5:30 PM at City Hall.
Under the direction of new Zoning Commissioner Darnell Moffett, the newly formed group will speak before Commissioner Moffett and other members of the Zoning Board Tuesday night.
The public is invited to attend the meeting.
The homeowners became involved when a Drug and Alcohol Rehab House was located in the middle of a single family home district. The house is located on 5th Street SW.
The homeowners appeared before the Board of Aldermen at the August 16, 2022 meeting. Upon further discussion, the Board announced the issue was zoning and the homeowners group would need to meet with the Zoning Board.
