By James Davis
The Scriptural passage for today is found in Job 36:11: “If they obey and serve Him, they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity and their years in contentment.” Those who place their trust in God and obey His commands are a special people, set apart, and share a bond with the Father. For those, God provides hope and contentment of life everlasting with Him. Trials will occur as part of the human condition common to all mortals; however, the Christian is assured that God will never leave or forsake His children. “And the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.” Yes, let’s turn our eyes upon Jesus, as the hymn urges. Amen!
Happy Friday! Enjoy your day, but be sure to spread and share the love, joy, and kindness with which God has imbued you.
