Ted Walters passed away on January 8, 2023. He was born to Willie Newel Walters and Lisa Lucille Lowery Walters on May 25, 1954, in Magee, MS.
He was happily married to his wife, Jennie Walters for forty-nine years. He was a family man and enjoyed being outdoors with his children and grandchildren. He loved gardening and working on his antique vehicles, particularly his big truck he named, “The Beast.”
He is survived by his wife, Jennie White Walters; son, Ted Walters Jr.; daughter, Lisa Deshae Walters; brother, Carroll Walters; grandchildren, Elisa McClemore, Issabella Walters, and Harley Grace Walker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Lisa Walters, and daughter, Regina K. Walters.
The service will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at South Raleigh Christian Church, in Raleigh, MS at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at South Raleigh Christian Church Cemetery with Bro. Kelly Speir officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
