TACKLE THE TAPE UPDATE

I’m excited to announce we recently cast our 146th vote as a participating member of the Occupational Licensing Review Commission (OLRC). Each of these votes helps reduce regulatory burdens in Mississippi, making it easier for all to do business across our state.

July marks the five-year anniversary ofΒ Tackle the Tape (TTT), and I’m incredibly thankful for our team’s completion of another year of hard work. We continue to work diligently to cut burdensome regulations and “rid the red” across Mississippi.

Since its inception, Tackle the Tape has made it easier for individuals to obtain or renew professional licensure, resulting in an abundance of new businesses and jobs. From nurses and pharmacists to licensed counselors, these OLRC votes have enabled these professionals to continue living and working in our state.
