Danny Craft, Supervisor District 2, appeared on TheTalkShow Monday night, May 20, 2019. All District 2 candidates were invited to appear on the Facebook live show. Bubba Brannan and Allen Maddox did not attend.
Danny spoke of the commitment to work out the bridge situation. He felt the involvement of the Federal government presented a huge problem to our county as well as other Mississippi counties.
In the future, Danny would like to see a plan to collect garbage fees in a different manner. According to Danny, several counties tack on a 4 % advalorem tax on each tax payer eliminating the need for printed statements are collections during the year. The debt associated with the garbage situation is outstanding.
