Happy New Year my dear friends…as you can tell, I am again taking a few days off.  My Florida grandsons are here and I want to spend every moment with them!  We’ll be running full gear next week.  Tuesday brings Board of Supervisors meeting and Board of Alderman….so Patrice and I better take a break before busting wide open!

I will post obituaries and “big” news…but otherwise…I’m taking it easy!

Watch out for counterfeit money…it is in Magee!

Remember to follow the rules of the road….the SO as well as the PD and MHP are out in force this weekend.  Be careful!

I hope everyone has a blessed New Years and Alabama wins!!!

My sweet grandsons got a supper surprise for Christmas:  A trip to the Pelicans and New York Knicks game in New Orleans.  That had VIP sitting on the 6th row from the court….Connor and Preston were by side themselves.  Preston would not even leave his seat to go and purchase a jersey…he sent Lynda!  Fun times at Christmas in Mississippi.  The boys will return to Florida on Wednesday…never enough time with those sweet grandsons!

Blessings on you my friends!

I started looking at the top stories for MageeNews for 2016….almost all of them dealt with obituaries…every hurt is dear to someone…take time to look back at the obituaries for 2016…check out the messages…Happenings, City News, Out and About…the past year is at your finger tips!

Thank you my friends…I just love ya’ll.

Happy New Year
