Stephen Wigginton, Sr., 65 of Pelahatchie, MS passed away on Monday, December 06, 2021, at his residence in Pelahatchie, MS. He was born Tuesday, November 06, 1956, in Temple, Texas.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Brandon, MS.
A memorial funeral service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church. Brother Matt Armstrong will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401
Steve worked as a refrigeration technician at KLLM for 30+ years. He was a skilled welder and a true craftsman. He enjoyed cooking and creating recipes. He loved spending time with his grand kids. Steve had a huge heart and loved the lord. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Eugene Wigginton and Freda Pearl Brown Wigginton.
Survivors include his children, Sarah Wigginton (Eric) and Stephen Wigginton, Jr. (Lindsey) both of Pelahatchie, MS; grandchildren, Kaylen Wigginton, Adelyn Wigginton, Austin Wigginton, Wyatt Wigginton, and Ollie Wigginton all of Pelahatchie, MS; step-daughters, Heather McKeith of Shivers, MS and Kerri Smith of Hattiesburg, MS; step-granddaughter, Sophia Smith of Hattiesburg, MS; brother, Phillip Andrew Wigginton, I, of Hazlehurst, MS; nephew, Phillip Andrew Wigginton, II, of Kosciusko, MS; the mother of his two children, Cheryl Wigginton of Puckett, MS; and the mother of his two step-daughters, Martha McKeith of Shivers, MS.
