Sophia Sarah Green, age 92, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021. She was born on May 19, 1928, to William Langston and Lonnie (Jones) Langston.

Mrs. Sarah was known for her delicious cooking and her hardworking nature. A second mother to many, her house was often filled with the sounds of laughter and play.

She is survived by her sons, James Gary Green (Melinda), Robert Earl Green, Michael Terry Green (Earina), John Earl Green, Scott Mitchel Green; daughters, Stacy Green, Betty Cathy Bowie (Larry), Mary Capels, Linda Diane Green; sisters, Annie Langston, Gladys Turner and twenty-six grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Henry Green; sons, John Larry Langston and Elmer Ray Langston.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 2, 2021, at Gregory Cemetery in Magee, MS with Pastor John Lockett officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
