Ideal Conceal, a Minnesota company, is developing a two-shot pistol that folds up to resemble a smartphone. The gun is a double-barreled .380 caliber pistol. The gun unfolds with a click of the safety.
The price of the gun is $395.
The company website says “Smartphones are everywhere, so your new pistol will easily blend in with today’s environment.” “In its locked position, it will be virtually undetectable because it hides in plain sight.”
The developer of the gun, Kirk Kielberg, says that 2,500 guns have already been pre-sold.
“This little kid says, ‘Mommy, Mommy, that man’s got a gun,’ so the whole restaurant looks at you like you’re about to shoot the place up,” Kielberg explained. “So I thought to myself there’s got to be another way to be able to carry without bothering other people.”
