Stacey Herrin requested Glenn Harris invite any or all teachers with concerns to come and speak with the Board regarding their own personal concerns.

Debbie Davis presented a program allowing Brad VanCleave and others to be trained as Mentors to troubled kids that are continuously missing school.  Mrs. Davis reported that Magee and Mendenhall High Schools have an average of 10 % of kids are skipping school.

Dr. Bo Huffman, Simpson County Tech Center,  received a major donation from Tractor Supply in Magee of new discontinued machinery such as saws.  Board approved the donation.

The Board scheduled a special School Board meeting for Monday, March 23, 2015, to speak to an advisory board regarding the location of the new elementary school and the cost involved.   The meeting will be opened to the public and begin at 7:00 PM.

The Board also scheduled a special School Board meeting for Monday March 30, 2015 to discuss a personnel matter, Tech Center personnel to travel to Dothan, Al. to tour an Energy & Power VoTech.

A workshop for new, past and present Board members was scheduled for April 21, 2015 @ 6p.m.   Each department head will discuss their job duties.
