Many Simpson County residents would turn the tassel one last time during the first weekend of May. Several junior and senior colleges celebrated commencement ceremonies this weekend.
Anika Floyd graduated from Mississippi State with a Doctoral degree.
Temper Russell and Josh Rushe graduated from Mississippi State with Bachelor’s degrees.
Brother and sister, Nick and Allie Luckey, graduated from Mississippi College. Nick graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and Allie graduated with a Master’s.
Jones County Junior College held their graduation. Cade Cockrell, Tori Funchess, Tyler Windham, Leigh Lawrence, and Tyler Slater all graduated with their Associates Degrees.
More graduations are to be held this next coming week with Copiah Lincoln Community College, University of Mississippi, and University Southern Mississippi and others. We will post these graduates later in the week.
