Matt Sullivan, District Attorney for the Thirteenth Circuit Court District (Covington, Jasper, Simpson, & Smith), was welcomed by the Simpson County GOP party at the Mississippi Republican Headquarters on Monday, February 24, 2020. Mr. Sullivan announced today that he was joining the Republican Party. A long time Democratic, Sullivan along with other elected county officials from Smith and Covington made the party switch.
