Simpson Central’s Beta Club sponsors Abigail Myers and Amber Young exclaimed how proud they were of their students and their performance, especially after two years of competing virtually due to the global pandemic.
“After two years of COVID causing the in-person state convention to be cancelled, it was wonderful to attend the convention in person,” said the sponsors. “Our Simpson Central Betas represented our district and school exceptionally well. We have always believed our students were the best in the state and this convention showcased their talents. We can’t wait until next year.”
Thanks to their outstanding performance, SCS Beta Club members will have an opportunity to compete in the National Beta Convention either virtually or in person in Nashville at varying dates.
National Beta Club is the largest independent, nonprofit, educational youth organization in America. Its mission is to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.
