Simpson Academy will welcome fans, alumni, and family back to campus on Friday, September 12, 2025, for the school’s 56th Homecoming celebration. The Cougars will host the Columbia Academy Cougars in what promises to be a spirited non-conference matchup. Columbia enters the contest with a 2-0 record, while Simpson stands at 1-1 on the season. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Simpson Academy’s field.

Homecoming festivities will begin at 6:00 p.m., offering a time of tradition and celebration for the Cougar faithful. The evening will feature the presentation of the 2025 Homecoming Court, highlighting a group of outstanding students selected to represent their school.

The Homecoming Court is comprised of:

  • Front row: Penelope Duran and Grant Greer

  • Back row: Emma Overby, Hudson Emrich, Payten Myers, Aniston Bass, Layla Warren, Sophie Grubbs, Marlee Welch, Mallory Duncan, Maggie Shivers, Elie Stewart, Macy Jones, Andi Mohr, Ansley Jones, and Vallie Polk

Homecoming at Simpson Academy is always a special time, bringing together generations of Cougars to celebrate school spirit, friendships, and community pride. Friday night will be no exception as students, alumni, and fans gather for a night filled with tradition, football, and family fun.
