On February 7, 2021 at approximately 7:48pm Magee Police Department received reports of “shots fired’ at Azalea Apartments located at 849 1st Street NW in Magee. Officers discovered that 4 vehicles had been shot. 3 of the vehicles were parked unoccupied with one vehicle occupied by 3 people. One of the 3 people sustained a minor injury believed to be from broken glass. Officers collected approximately 24 shell-casings near the scene. Numerous by-standers were addressed by the Officers but no one would give a statement as to what they saw or heard. 2 of the 3 occupants in one of the vehicles stated that they were just sitting in the vehicle and someone started shooting through the vehicle. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
