Sheila Gwen Ware passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at MS Baptist Hospital in Jackson. She was born on March 11, 1966, to Judean Ware and Gwendolyn McAlpin Ware in Magee, MS.
Sheila was a graduate of Magee High School where she was an avid tennis player. Her love of music and music festivals was unsurpassed. She was especially fond of the blues, as evidenced by the King Biscuit Blues Festival T-shirts that she gave as Christmas gifts to her family. Sheila loved the outdoors and camping, especially when she had her friends along for the adventure. She was employed with Real Pure Water for 22 years as Quality Assurance Manager.
She is survived by her two brothers, David Ware (Denise) and Paul Ware (Charlotte); nieces and nephews, Dave Ware (Amy Jo), John Ware (Sara), Ann Marie Holland, Zachary Ware (Kayla), Jacob Ware, Lindsey Myers (Robert) and Micah Windham; great nieces, nephews and family that will forever miss her from their everyday lives. She will always be in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Judean and Gwendolyn Ware.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Concord Baptist Church from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM. The service will begin at 3:00 PM with Bro. Will McNeese and Bro. David Ware officiating. Interment will follow in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
