Sheila Patterson, 65, of Magee Mississippi passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at Magee General Hospital. She was born September 8, 1954, in Magee MS.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 10, 2020, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, at Sharon Cemetery. Bro. John Cockrell, Bro. H.B. Floyd and Bro James Fortenberry will officiate the service.
Pallbearers will be Todd Austin, Keven Austin, Mike Cockrell, Jeremy Cockrell, Matt Cockrell, Tyler Kelly, Christopher Cockrell and Michael Cockrell. Honorary bearers are Jake Sullivan, Thomas Patterson, Tony Austin, Lance Davidson, Lee Boone, Kelly Todd, Roy Todd, Larry McInnis, Adam Cratt, Josh Patterson, Heath Cockrell and Steele Cockrell.
Mrs. Patterson was a member of Magee Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was a housewife where she raised her children and took care of several children throughout the years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. The only thing she loved more than her family was God. She will be missed by everyone that knew her.
She was preceded is death by her husband of forty-five years, Kenny Patterson; her parents, Shelby and Clara Cockrell; one sister, Pat Austin; two brothers, Wendell Cockrell and Stanley Cockrell.
She is survived by one son, Brad Patterson (Susan); two daughters, Kim Sullivan (Josh), Kayla Ware (Zach); three grandchildren, Faith Sullivan, Jake Sullivan and Thomas Patterson; two sisters, Linda Boone, Deborah Davidson (Mike); brother, Charles Cockrell; two sisters-in-law, Twylla Grant (Larry) and Lara Craft (Brent). She had twenty-three nieces and nephews and forty great nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Magee Pleasant Hill Baptist Church 704 Rose Ave, Magee, MS 39111.
