I decided to take an “out and about” and check out some of our restaurants. I wanted to see if anyone was inviting folks in or if everyone is remain curbside.
Zips was in full swing when I visited. They are offering dine in, carry out, and curbside. Zips has added about 4 tables on the porch area of the restaurant. The tables inside were spaced and people were keeping their distance. Sanitation seemed to be at the top of the list…just behind the food! The waitresses wore mask and were constantly cleaning as they wanted on their faithful customers.
I found Chris Lane, Randy Rankin, and David Ham checking out an end porch table. Megan was outside getting their orders! Hours of operation are 10:30 AM-7:30 PM.
Fernando’s was ready and serving when I arrived at the restaurant. They are offering in house seating in all areas of the restaurant with social distancing between each guest. Curbside service is still available. Fernando’s hours are the same as always…opening at 10:30 and closing around 9 during the week and 10:30 on the weekend.
The Vault is open and taking reservations for seating.
I believe most of the chain restaurants which have drive-throughs are only offering drive-through.
Enjoy your days of freedom at the table! But, remember, the threat of COVID-19 is not over! Wash your hands…practice social distancing and remember be smart!
